Big hype, little substance
The charm of this fine 18th-century home captivates you as soon as you arrive. The peaceful garden is lovely for breakfast, and the large, clean rooms offer a serene escape from the medina's hustle. Friendly staff assist with everything. A immersive Moroccan experience worth returning to!

delightful hotel, caring staff, stunning location to the airport at 2 am. location short walk to a ruined garden, fes medina and a taxi to the bus station. the tasteful and immaculate room with a comfortable bed.

Absolutely no one seems to take guest comfort seriously at Riad Idrissy. My shower head was practically a relic and the room door? Forget it, just a flimsy joke without a key. I had hoped for a little room upgrade to make amends for these travesties, but alas, nothing. Almost thought about giving a good review, but just couldn't.

I stayed in the Family Room The Mensah and it was great! The decor was super charming, and the view from the room overlooked the lovely seating area. It felt spacious. The cleanliness was on point too. Breakfast was huge and delicious every day, key for me. Since it was close to the common areas, it could get a bit noisy at times.

The gorgeous garden was perfect for breakfast, and the spacious rooms were a hit with the whole group. We also visited the historic palace and explored the vibrant markets, amazing and less crowded. The staff was super friendly and took great care of us.
The only downside was the slow response to our messages before arrival, which left us a bit worried. Everything turned out fine when we got there.
